take a peek into what we do and what we’re about…

Giving Back

As a team, we believe in giving back to our community, especially our local children. In 6 years, we have raised over $85,000 for The Carousel Center and have sponsored their room in the Department of Social Services Building. We also sponsor the Boys & Girls Club and The Cape Fear Literacy Council. Danielle serves as a Board Member of the CFLC and serves on their marketing committee.

VIP

Every year we make two trips to the furniture capital of the world — the High Point Furniture Market in High Point, NC. We take our clients with us for a customized VIP experience where they get to see all vendor showrooms in addition to seeing their new collections.

After we select everything in person, we put together a picture book, a visual representation of all selections, which accompanies the physical swatches and samples. From furniture to area rugs, art, lighting and accessories, we see it ALL in a jam-packed day full of treasure hunting! Because we only have the availability to take 6 clients a year to Market, this is an exclusive VIP experience that we love to share!

Turnkey

After an order is placed with us, our warehouse manager receives, inspects, assembles and stores each client’s order in their own section. We handle all trash and damage claims in-house. Our warehouse is temperature controlled and each item is individually covered until it is installed. We keep our warehouse extremely clean and organized so that our job tracking list for inventory can be updated efficiently on a weekly basis. Our install team which consists of professional movers and designers will deliver each job as a team with a BIG REVEAL presentation for each client!

Appreciation

Since 2015, we have marked an annual PCDG Appreciation Day for our clients and vendors! We consider everyone we work with like family, so it is also a great way to stay in touch with clients after their project is completed.

After our deliveries, we celebrate our team with a dinner for all team members and their families.

Words of Gratitude

This ‘word cloud’ presents how clients describe us in one word.

Storytelling

Danielle loves to read, write and tell stories. Her children’s book series Smunchkin Learns is an educational series created to help children learn important life lessons such as loyalty, friendship, and bravery through the stories of animals – with Danielle’s first dog Cooper, known as Smunchkin, as their guide!

During the 2020 quarantine, Danielle took a lesson from Smunchkin Learns Bravery and she braved up the courage to tell her own story. Her published memoir titled 180 Degrees, Emerging from Childhood Darkness released on New Year’s Day of 2021. Danielle invites you into finding out where her passion for interior design came from!
